Bruna has been making waves on the Guadalajara dining scene since 2015. Set amid manicured gardens, and home to an exclusive art gallery, tables on its flamboyant black-and-white parquet floors are in high demand. Executive chef Oscar Garza draws inspiration from street-food stalls and recipes passed down by grandmothers, cooking many of his Mexican-fusion dishes on a wood-fired grill. Start out with a cocktail, before moving on to the likes of aubergine tacos and grilled mussels, leaving room for one of the standout desserts, which include a spiced-up habanero ice cream with cactus jelly. Mexican bins are well represented, with wines all served in Riedel glassware.
