Aptly situated on Singapore’s vibrant Club Street, Le Bon Funk opened in 2018 with a second branch in Holland Village quickly following. The playful neighbourhood wine bar is the braindchild of chef-owner Keirin Buck with Jos Kjer manning the drinks programme. Together, they deploy a mission statement of offering bon viveurs a tightly curated line-up of exciting natural wines and a rotating menu of fine-casual-dining sharing plates. The interior sets itself apart from traditional wine bars with textures of terrazzo and brass against raw natural furnishings of rattan and corkwood. Standouts among the tasty bites – which change seasonally –  are the beef tongue sandwich, the whole heritage chicken and waygu tartare, with the quality each plate letting the ingredients speak for themself.
