Brought to you by the crew behind Singapore’s Ginza-style bar D.Bespoke is this vinyl-obsessed outpost, with a specialisation in Japanese shochu. Rather more accessible than its older speakeasy sibling, RPM is home to an impressive and wide-ranging collection of vintage vinyl, which line the walls in floor-to-celing wooden shelves. These are put to good use here, with regular events featuring guest DJs. The drinks offering, meanwhile, celebrates shochu’s diversity, with an extensive collection of the Japanese spirit. The bar’s tasting flight is an excellent way to become acquainted with it in all its forms, before moving on to RPM’s shochu-focused cocktails. The fun, varied drinks, which are inventive takes on classic cocktails more often than not, are the perfect pairing for the eclectic, top-quality tunes.
