An intimate seven-seat omakase (a chef’s choice menu) restaurant that has something of the atmosphere of a gentleman’s club thanks to leather seats and bronze touches. Jung Sang-won grew up steps away from Seoul’s Majang Meat Market, where his father still has a shop, and his understanding of beef is profound. Expect bold, confident plates such as diamond-cut top blade served on an individual grill and just-seared sirloin with pickled mustard seeds. Menus only features female cattle that are between six and seven years old as Jung believes they have a deeper taste.
