Boca Chica

Barcelona, Spain

Two floors up from the Boca Grande restaurant, you’ll find the upmarket and altogether quite glamorous Boca Chica – serving as a glitzy break from Barcelona’s dive bars. With an old-world, colonial feel – think stag heads, Persian carpets and vintage photographs lining the walls – this place attracts some of the city’s ‘cooler’ crowd. In summer, head to the terrace, and don’t miss an opportunity to visit the bathroom, where guests will find a DJ booth, photo booth, wall of mirrors and a bar. Drinks are well made, and the signature menu has some fantastic options that have earned the bar international praise. This is one of the more high-end spots in Barcelona, however, and prices reflect this.
