Examples include the award-winning Kingston Negroni, with rum, Carpano Bitter, Italicus, amaro and pickled lime, or the Distrito #1, a combination of scotch whisky, sweet vermouth and a black olive distillate. Flavour is paramount here, so each item on the list is described in terms of geometric shapes, each representing a particular flavour, like sweet or bitter. The minimalist approach extends to the decor at Momus too, with few adornments – all the better for focusing on the exceptional cocktails.
