Step into the lobby of the Edition brand’s Madrid branch and you'll feel like you're entering an slick, invitation-only den. This seductive stay oozes edginess, from its statement white marble staircase to the velvet-trimmed, dimly lit oak-panelled Punch Room bar. A cross-continent team of designers dreamt up the hotel’s look, which culminates in a sunset-ready rooftop pool – the city's largest. The adjacent bar has become an evening outpost for city residents, with its terracotta-tile views and sharply crafted cocktails enticing many to the rafters.
