Exquisite cuisine meets gastronomic playground at Frantzén. From humble beginnings in a Lilliputian dining room, his eponymous restaurant recently moved to a three-storey townhouse in Stockholm’s Norrmalm district after closing in 2016. The concept is unique: each sitting sees 23 guests move between rooms and floors as they traverse his experiential ten-course menu – a journey which is replicated at sister restaurant Zén in Singapore. Guests will feel at home among the upholstery, plush carpets, and warm hospitality. Expect an exciting procession of Nordic-meets-Asian elevated by vinegars and fermentation. As an example, the kitchen seasons the hard cheese of the Italian vecche rosse cows with vinegar aged in juniper wood, and the punch of black truffle is emphasized by preservation.
