Two nightly seatings dish up a set tasting menu of 10 or so courses, with an optional sake pairing should you want to stick closely to the Japanese beverage of choice. It makes sense that they know what they’re doing; as the sister outpost to the Osakan Ichimatsu restaurant, the team is as careful with sourcing as with the flame-grilling. With the bar-style seating – the only option unless you’re a group hiring a private room – the set up is a particularly good one for solo diners.
