In dedication to the Southern Thai community Sorn is a restaurant founded on the vision directly sourcing produce from local farmers and fishermen of the 14 provinces belonging to this region. Founder and chef Supaksorn Jongsiri uses traditional techniques, such as clay pot cooking and charcoal grilling to introduce Thai cooking in a manner true to his upbringing. On their multi-course menu, proceedings kick off with bite-size snacks, followed by salads and a feast of dishes for the main course designed to be shared by the whole table. Located down a Sukhumvit alleyway in a 90-year-old house, Sorn is extremely popular among locals and visitors keen to learn about Thai gastronomic history.
