The shorts and flip-flops-friendly 3 Fils opened in 2016 to popular acclaim – an independent chef-owned concept with chilled music and a casual atmosphere being something of a rarity in Dubai. The beach-shack vibes and Jumeirah Fishing Harbour location are well suited to a funky Asian-fusion menu spanning dishes from king crab salad to marinated lamb ribs to matcha chocolate with tea crumbs and milk foam. There’s no alcohol licence, but the mocktails are refreshing and delicious. Grab a seat on the small terrace if space – and weather – allows.
