Murder Inc is that unlikely, possibly unique, thing: a neighbourhood cocktail bar in central London. From the team behind The Cocktail Trading Co, nothing is taken seriously here, where a red neon sign leads punters downstairs to an intimate bar bathed in yet more red neon, and decorated with quirky curios. Drinks are great value – location considered – with a menu that embodies irreverence, from the Fermented Grap Juice section (read, wine); to the Dive Bar Old Fashioned (“tastes like a sticky bar top”); and the Something Manly, which fuses grappa with sauvignon blanc, raspberry and bell pepper. Soak it all up with a plate of gooey jalapeño nachos or giant nocellara olives for a tangy hit.
