Spoon and Stable

Minneapolis, US

Chef Gavin Kaysen uses seasonal Midwest ingredients then applies French culinary knowhow at this restaurant located in a former carriage house. Kaysen’s dishes are casual yet well-thought out. Those with time constraints can enjoy a few bar snacks, such as stuffed duck wing and bratwurst, with some cocktails. At dinner, kick off with bison tartare before enjoying roasted halibut with prawns and squash blossom or one of the heritage grain pasta dishes such as ricotta gnudi. Spoon and Stable’s dessert and artisanal cheese game is also strong.
