Touted as the bar that kicked off the New Orleans cocktail revival, Cure has become a stalwart of the city’s now thriving scene. Housed in a former firehouse, the bar has been renovated into a spacious and stylish venue, keeping its original brick walls but adding in stunning modern detail such as the wood-panelled ceiling and enormous back bar. Co-owner Neal Bodenheimer built a bar that striving bartenders would flock to, ensuring the menu is ever vibrant and always creative, like the Home Improvement, which combines agave, amaro, spiced orange mint and hibiscus. Service is genuine and friendly, whether it’s a rammed happy hour or a quiet Tuesday night.
