Dynamic culinary duo Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski change the dim-sum game at State Bird Provisions by presenting New American small plates on trolleys wheeled out around the airy and well-illuminated dining room. Using seasonal Californian ingredients, the menu changes weekly and diners can pick out star dishes such as pan-seared guinea hen dumplings with aromatic broth, blistered shishitos with massaman curry and jerk octopus with sweet potato and habanero. There’s a separate toast and pancakes menu, and a strong craft beer and cider list.
