Restaurant Pearl Morissette

Lincoln

An exemplary care‑driven approach to dining

A destination restaurant set in southern Ontario's prized wine country, Restaurant Pearl Morissette (RPM) is celebrated for its garden to table, French inspired cuisine served above the Pearl Morissette Estate Winery. Here, chef owners Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson cook with pristine ingredients sourced from trusted regional purveyors or grown just steps away on the property's regenerative farm, peach orchard and expansive vegetable, herb and flower gardens.

Yet it's not only the seasonal tasting menu or the winery's minimal intervention wines that linger in diners' minds as they reluctantly head home at the end of the evening. What truly sets RPM apart is its deeply personal, guest centred hospitality. It's care delivered by a team that genuinely loves looking after others. Led by Robin Mednick, Amy Stott and Akshaye Sridhar, the 30 plus person front of house team quietly defies convention, crafting personalised experiences that feel thoughtful, warm and generous.

As curator of guest experience, Mednick shapes the evening long before a table is set. From celebrating milestones and navigating complex dietary needs to arranging garden tours with plant wizard Deirdre Fraser and chef de farm Shane Harper, she ensures every detail is covered. When guests arrive in the second floor dining room, that torch passes seamlessly to general manager Stott and assistant general manager Sridhar, who guide the team with a shared commitment to what Hadida calls "radically empathetic" hospitality.

Service is a collective act at RPM. Both front and back-of-house run food, giving guests the rare chance to meet the people behind each dish. Small gestures reign supreme: packing up a loaf of sourdough for a guest who loved it, or gifting garden seeds to regulars so they can take a piece of RPM home. Beyond the dining room, members of the team walk guests to their cars under umbrellas, deliver care packages during snowstorms, and salvage rain soaked proposals by transforming the cellar into an intimate and cosy sanctuary.

The culture of care and forming genuine connections has earned Restaurant Pearl Morissette widespread recognition. Now it has been named the winner of The Art of Hospitality Award, as part of North America's 50 Best Restaurants 2026.
