't Zilte

Situated on the top floor of Antwerp’s 'Museum by the River', the already well-established ‘t Zilte was transplanted from the town of Mol in 2011 by husband-and-wife team Viki Geunes (chef) and Vivian Plaquet (maître d’hôtel). Boasting high ceilings and a calm, neutral palette, the dining room offers breath-taking views of the city and river Scheldt below. Paying tribute to his Burgundian roots, Geunes sends out six and eight-course tasting menus that display a true mastery of texture and flavour. Desserts, such as sea buckthorn with yoghurt, bitter chocolate and shortbread, are a highlight.
