Kink

Berlin, Germany

Set in a former brewery in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg, Kink is pushing the boundaries of both food and drink in an art-filled setting. The venue manages the tricky balancing act of offering both a high-end culinary experience and a laid-back atmosphere. A variety of gadgets are employed in creating the cocktails here, on display in the culinary laboratory seen through a large window. Cutting edge cocktails include the Lucky Flaeming, with whisky, clarified mango juice, curry and orange-blossom honey that, like all of Kink’s cocktails, can be served either short or long. These are served in a striking space with high ceilings and large-scale art, such as the installation by Swiss artist Kerim Seiler consisting of 100 metres of neon tube. Don’t miss the Glashaus balcony, accessed via a set of steel stairs.
