Back in 2010, Soho House chose Berlin for its first base in continental Europe. More than a decade on, the members’ club is still going strong, attracting stylish locals and international travellers alike – with guests granted the exact same privileges as members. Housed in a Grade II listed Bauhaus building in the Mitte district, the property doubles as a hub for the city’s creative souls, drawn to its laptop-friendly communal spaces, skyline rooftop pool and cinema screening room. Guests have the chance to rub shoulders with Berliners but, unlike locals, have the added benefit of experiencing the 1970s-inspired rooms and suites. Those tempted to linger a little longer can opt for one of the apartments and lofts – each with a kitchen and roomy living space. And when it comes to downtime, the club brings its signature Italian restaurant Cecconi’s and Cowshed spa to the German capital.
