Unique in the Netherlands, De Kas is housed in a series of greenhouses dating back to the 1920s. The restaurant grows its own herbs and vegetables and supplements these with quality local produce. The dynamic kitchen team creates one fixed menu daily (three or four courses for lunch; five or six at dinner) based on the season’s harvest. On sunny days, guests can sit outside on the patio in the garden. Small dishes feature simple presentation and fresh, light flavours. A complementary wine list boasts a selection of 40 sustainable wines.
