Chez Bruce offers three-course set menus at lunch and dinner, with plenty of choice for dishes – which often include game and specialist cuts. The long-standing institution is well known for its main of cavatelli with braised rabbit, a selection of house-made breads and an array of home-made charcuterie. The wine list suits a broad variety of appetites, with good selection of Italian and French wines also available as half bottles, as well as a generous choice by the glass. Staff are attentive, yet not overbearing. Despite its relaxed neighbourhood bistro feel, reservations are strongly advised.
