Gordon Ramsay’s Chelsea flagship has been a stalwart on the London dining scene since 1998 and is one of only a clutch of restaurants in the UK to hold three Michelin stars. A pitch-perfect modern French menu courtesy of chef de cuisine Matt Abé comes as standard. Expect indulgent, yet refined dishes such as pressed foie gras with smoked duck and wild strawberries; lobster, langoustine and salmon ravioli; and roast pigeon with fennel, apricot and almond. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t come cheap ($235 for the seven-course seasonal inspiration menu), but the service is as fine as you’d hope, with the waiting team gliding around donned in white polishing gloves.
