BAR-AWAITING-3

Kimball House

Atlanta, US

Kimball House is a local institution. It opened in a converted train depot in 2013, named after a long-demolished icon of Atlanta hospitality, and has been a fixture on must-visit lists ever since. A stylish space with distinct Southern charm, there's a raw bar (don't miss the oysters) and an extensive menu of French-inspired dishes on offer if you're heading here for dinner, but the drinks are as good as the food. There's a range of chic classics like the French 75 on offer, but we're here for the riffs on lesser-known cult favourites like the Strawberry Milk Punch: pisco, overproof rum, genepi, strawberry, lemon and hibiscus.
