Though walk-ins are always welcome, it's best to book weeks in advance for this much talked-about spot from Delicious Hospitality Group, the team behind downtown stalwarts Charlie Bird and Pasquale Jones. Chef and DHG founder Ryan Hardy's fresh, flavourful cooking is inspired by Italy's northern coastline. The concise menu is divided into Crudo, Small, Pasta, Roasted and Dessert with a handful of dishes in each. Kick off with smoked leek focaccia with whipped bone marrow or cherrystone clams, before moving on to honey lacquered duck or raviolo filled with smoked egg, guanciale and cippolini onion. The coconut semifreddo and the buttermilk panna cotta will transport you back to Italy. It's worth arriving early and pulling up a stool at the horse shoe-shaped bar for a glass from the tightly curated wine list and a bowl of their citrusy olives.
