The name is a giveaway, but Honeycomb Hi-Fi is a bar for those that appreciate good music played on outstanding audio equipment, with a similar quality-led approach when it comes to its food and drink offering. With a focus on eclectic tunes from around the world, Honeycomb is host to a global lineup of DJs, as well as offering a busy schedule of listening sessions – all making the most of the venue’s bespoke Ojas sound system. Located upstairs at the Pullman Dubai Downtown, this Izakaya-inspired venue also features changing art exhibitions, such as a recent installation by Colombia and Mexico-based artist Mirjam Wirz. In keeping with the Japanese influences, there’s a solid selection of sake and shochu on offer, and a collection of cocktails that draw on flavours and ingredients from Japan too.
