A minimalist, contemporary, Californian 13-course tasting menu executed by Daniel Patterson awaits at Coi. Patterson, who returned to the kitchen here in 2019 after a hiatus, plates well-executed dishes such as Dungeness crab with crab mayo and lemongrass panna cotta, olive oil sorbet with basil and tomato ice, and watermelon, verbena and clotted cream tartlet. The tasting menu changes daily. Beverage director Eric Fox’s award-winning wine list is notable and he also plans tea pairings.
