After a decade of cooking around the globe, from Bologna to Shanghai, Brandon Jew found his greatest inspiration at home in San Francisco's Chinatown. In an historic space returned to its former glory, Mister Jiu's is his attempt to transform people's expectations of what a Chinese restaurant can be. He uses only the best organic produce from local purveyors and makes as many ingredients as he can in-house: from tofu to rice vinegar, fermented beans and more.
