Saison is recognised as an early fine dining adopter of open-hearth cooking. The San Francisco institution launched modestly in 2009 as a pop-up, swiftly scaling into a full time brick and mortar, and eventually reaching its current Michelin two-star status. Today, the restaurant’s legacy continues under the leadership of executive chef Richard Lee, whose dedication to purity and innovation unfolds with a focus on the diversity and bounty of Northern California’s evolving terroir and its world-class farmers, ranchers, and fishermen and women.
