Audrey

Nashville, US

The aesthetics of Appalachian tobacco barns and modern minimal Japanese architecture inspired the vibe at Audrey, Sean Brock’s Nashville homage to his Southern roots, named after his grandmother. An open kitchen anchors the dining room in the McFerrin Park building (which also houses an upstairs bar and June, Brock’s tasting menu restaurant), inviting guests into the heart of the homey space, where meals are down-to-earth and served at a leisurely pace. With an in-house research and development lab on site, Brock and team experiment with everything from koji fermentation to using local produce to make vinegars and syrups. All of the ingredients served at the restaurant are sourced from producers who focus on organic, biodynamic, and sustainable farming. Expect gracious hospitality and well-portioned dishes perfect for sharing family-style. A full bar accompanies the menu, including a substantial zero-proof selection.
