Innovation grows wild at this buzzy vegan haunt, housed in an intimate Tiger Building brownstone. Chef-owners Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby eschew the usual starter-main set-up in favour of a holy trinity of ‘bar’, cold dishes and vegetable charcuterie; ‘dirt list’, seasonal stars; and ‘hot kitchen’, responsible for, among others, the standout wood-roasted carrots, and a dazzling rutabaga fondue. Natural wines, craft beers and fresh cocktails such as the Jack Harrington, a blend of manzanilla, chrysanthemum and bourbon, make up the drinks offering, while creative desserts include the likes of cedar-infused ice cream with BBQ pecans.
