This culinary live wire puts Berlin at the front and centre of its kitchen’s ethos. Its cuisine, like the city, is unconventional – both regional and cosmopolitan, constantly evolving and boasting multiple multicultural influences. Local chef Silvio Pfeufer’s unfussy six-course menu takes 24 diners on a jaunt across the capital. Ingredients are sourced locally, and dishes such as pike with celeriac and seaweed, pork with sauerkraut and onions, and strawberry with pine nuts and basil lead the charge. The setting is deliciously pared back, featuring friendly staff and an open kitchen.
